Pair of large Staffordshire pottery pigeons, c. 1860. The brightly enamelled pigeons, stood on tall grassy mound bases.

Height – 32 cm, 12 5/8”.

Width – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.

Condition – Chip to reverse of one bird, crack from a firing crack, to the reverse of the other. Some wear to the overglaze enamel – please see images for detail. No restoration.
