Meissen porcelain miniature tray, c. 1740. The basket weave moulded tray, hand painted to the sides with sprays of flowers; the interior similarly decorated.
Having twin vine handles, with flowerhead terminals, to either end of the tray.
Gilt decoration to the rim.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark to the base.
Length – 8.5 cm, 3 3/8”.
Width – 5 cm, 2”.
Depth – 2.5 cm, 1”.
Condition – Very minor wear to the gilt. No damage. No restoration.
