Hirado porcelain table screen, c. 1880, Meiji Period. The screen painted to either side, in underglaze blue, with panels of mountainous river landscapes. Set upon a cabriolet moulded base.
Height – 14.5 cm, 5 1/4”.
Width – 17 cm, 6 5/8”.
Depth – 9 cm, 3 1/2”.
Condition – Chip to one scroll on the base. No restoration.
