French bronze elephant candelabrum, c. 1870. Well cast in the Japnisme style, as a seated elephant, holding bamboo style branches in his trunk, which in turn, support the two sconces.
Set upon a bronze base, cast as bamboo, sprouting leaves.
Height – 22 cm, 8 1/2”.
Width – 22.5 cm, 8 7/8”.
Depth – 13.5 cm, 5 1/4”
Condition – No damage. No repair.
