W.T. Copeland & Sons pottery jug, Going to the Derby’ c. 1870. The tall water jug, printed with an amusing scene of two men racing donkey drawn carts along a country lane, within gilt bands.

Printed marks to the base.

Height – 22.5 cm, 8 7/8”.

Width – 18 cm, 7 1/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
