Chinese porcelain teapot, with Amsterdam Bont decoration, 18th Century. The Chinese porcelain teapot, painted in underglaze blue, with flowering plants, emerging from rocks. The plants, having moulded cherry blossom.
Later decorated in Amsterdam, in Imari style, with twin panels, containing large baskets of flowers, divided by dense scrolling foliage, in iron red, on a gilt ground; surrounding further circular panels containing fishermen in river landscapes.
The spout and handle, enamelled in Kakiemon style, with karakusa scroll.
Having a similarly decorated cover.

Height – 12.7 cm, 5”.

Width – 19 cm, 7 1/2”.

Depth – 11 cm, 4 3/8”.

Condition – Glaze loss to the finial, and on the handle – please see images for detail. No restoration.
