Chinese porcelain tea caddy, 18th Century, Qing Dynasty. The square shaped caddy, moulded to both sides, with panels of dragons, chasing flaming pearls through clouds, on an underglaze cobalt blue ground.
The sides moulded with bats flying amongst clouds, whilst the shoulder is painted with two further bats, either side of the circular aperture.
Having a later Chinese hardwood cover.

Height – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.

Width – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.

Depth – 5.4 cm, 2 1/8”.

Condition – Typical minor age related wear to the glaze. No damage. No restoration.
