Rare Chinese porcelain ladle, c. 1760, Qianlong Period. The silver shaped bowl, beautifully painted in the Meissen style, with a spray of flowers to the base. The body painted with further sprays of flowers.
Attached to an 18th Century turned horn handle.
Overall length – 32 cm, 12 5/8”.
Width of bowl – 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.
Height of bowl – 4 cm, 1 5/8”.
Condition – Typical wear to the gilding. Otherwise in excellent condition. No restoration.
