A large Chinese porcelain basin, c. 1760, Qianlong Period. Beautifully hand painted in underglaze blue, to the interior, with an extensive river landscape of figures on a bridge, observing boats, before pavilions on the islands. All beneath a broad complex border.
The everted rim, painted with a cell diaper motif, whilst large sprays of flowers adorn the exterior.

Diameter – 32.5 cm, 12 3/4”.
