An interesting Chelsea Derby porcelain figure, c. 1760. Modelled as a young man walking on a country lane, carrying a small barrel over his shoulder, before a flowering tree. He stands upon a circular mound base, with gilt rocaille moulding.
Red anchor mark to the reverse.
Height – 19 cm, 7 1/2”.
Width – 7.5 cm, 3”.
Condition – Repair to right arm, and fingers on left hand. Chip to brim of hat repaired. Minor chips repaired.
