Wedgwood Earthenware ‘Bamboo’ Teapot, circa 1875


Wedgwood pottery teapot, circa 1875. The teapot, modelled in the Aesthetic style, as sections of flowering bamboo, beneath a lilac glaze. Having an overhead handle, and a similarly moulded lid, with a ‘bamboo’ finial.
Impressed upper case ‘Wedgwood’ mark, and registration mark to the base.
Measures: Height 13 cm, 5 1/8”.
Length 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.
Depth 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.
Condition - Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
