Worcester Porcelain Chocolate Cup and Saucer, ‘Spotted Fruit’ Painter

A Fine Worcester porcelain chocolate cup and saucer, circa 1770. The moulded cup having twin branch handles, with gilded leaf terminals. Beautifully and delicately painted with studies of spotted fruit, and insects, within gilt Rococo scrollwork, and apple green borders.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark and ‘6’ to the underside of the cup.
Height of cup - 7 cm, 2 3/4”.
Diameter of saucer - 15.3 cm, 6”.
Condition - Exceptionall good condition. No damage. No restoration.
