Chinese Silver Flask ‘Cherry blossom on a cracked ice ground’, Luen Wo, Shanghai

Chinese silver globular flask, Luen Wo, Shanghai, circa 1900. The heavy gauge silver flask, being cast and chased with flowering cherry blossom. The twin handles formed as large branches of the prunus tree, at the neck of the flask, all upon an engraved ‘Cracked Ice’ ground.
Luen Wo Hall marks to the base.
Weight - 356 grammes, 12 1/2oz.
Measures: Height 15.2 cm, 6”.
Diameter 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.
Condition - Excellent. No damage. No repair.
