Chinese Porcelain Plate, Wucai Decoration, Shunzhi Period ‘1644-1661’


A rare Chinese porcelain dish, Shunzhi period, 1644-1661. Hand painted in wucai enamels, with a scene of exotic birds amongst flowering plants, emerging from rocks. Within an anhua moulded narrow border.
Measures: Diameter 22.5 cm, 8 7/8”.
Condition - Some fritting and small chips to the rim - please see images for detail. No restoration.
