Chinese Porcelain Dish, Kangxi Period 1662-1722

A small Chinese porcelain dish, Kangxi period, 1662-1722. The moulded dish, painted in underglaze blue with a central panel of a bird, perched amongst flowering plants, observing insects within a lappet border. Panels of flowering plants, upon a repeating swastika motif, create a broad border around the rim.
The reverse with stylised sprigs, above a lappet motif and concentric circle, enclosing a Linghzi in under glaze blue.
Measures: Diameter 13 cm, 5 1/8”
