Worcester 'Blue Scale' ground bowl, Dr Wall Period. c.1770.


A Worcester porcelain bowl, c. 1770. Painted floral swags, within elaborate gilt scroll panels, surrounded by further panels of single flowers. All upon an underglaze 'Blue Scale' ground.
The interior painted with a single rose bud.
Underglaze blue hatched square mark to base.
Diameter - 15.5 cm, 6 1/8".
Height - 7.5 cm, 2 7/8".
Condition - Typical minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in perfect condition. No damage. No restoration.
