Wedgwood Creamware Bowl & Stand 'Fallen Leaves' pattern.


A rare Wedgwood creamware bowl, cover and stand, c. 1810. Hand painted with the ' Fallen Leaves' pattern, the enamelled leaves, shadowed. The rims of all the pieces, painted in burnt orange.
Height of bowl - 4 1/2", 11.5 cm.
Diameter of stand - 6", 15.3 cm.

This pattern can also be found on wares produced by Davenport, but is some what rarer on items produced by Wedgwood.

Medium: Earthenware.

Signed/Inscribed: Impressed ' Wedgwood' in upper case letters.

Condition: Typical minor wear to the enamel. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
