A Wedgwood black basalt library bust, c. 1850. Finely modelled as Sir Walter Scott, wearing a drape over his shoulders. Set upon a socke base.
Impressed 'SCOTT' & 'WEDGWOOD' to the reverse of the bust. 'WEDGWOOD' to the socle.
Height - 34.5 cm, 13 5/8".
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.

Medium: Earthenware.

Signed/Inscribed: Impressed 'WEDGWOOD', and titled 'SCOTT'.
