Vienna porcelain plaque. ‘Abundianta amongst the Arts’, dated 1822.


A fine and large Vienna porcelain oval plaque, date marked for 1823. Finely painted to the centre with a Mythological scene of Abundianta amongst the Arts, within a Classical landscape. The border exquisitely gilded, with continuous floral scroll, upon black and silvered grounds, divided by diamond shaped panels, gilded with stylised flowers, upon a brick red ground.
Underglaze blue Beehive mark and number ‘6’ . Impressed date mark (1)822 to the reverse. Titled ‘Gottinnenversaminlung’ in iron red.
Condition - Excellent. No damage. No restoration.

Length - 37 cm, 14 5/8”.
Width - 30 cm, 11 7/8”.
