A rare Tournai porcelain mustard pot and cover, c. 1770. The barrel shaped pot, painted in underglaze blue, with a basket of flowering plants, in Kakiemon style, and having a moulded ‘C’ scroll handle. Having a similarly painted cover, with a loop finial, and an indentation, to accommodate a spoon.
Height - 9 cm, 3 1/2”.
Width - 8.5 cm, 3 3/8”.
Condition - Hairline crack to cover - please see images for detail. No restoration.
