Staffordshire Whieldon style creamware wall pocket.


A Staffordshire creamware wall pocket, c. 1760. The wrythen form wall pocket, moulded with graping vine, beneath a scroll rim, and covered in a Wheikdon style tortoiseshell glaze.
Having two pierced holes at the reverse for suspension.
Length -.20.5 cm, 8 1/8".
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
