Staffordshire Shepherd and flock group.


A Staffordshire pottery group, c. 1860. Modelled as a Shepherd, with his dog, and a flock of sheep, before a tree stump, and fence. The shepherd holding his crook, and wearing a jacket painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The rest of the group decorated in overgraze enamels.
Height - 24.2 cm, 9 9 1/2".
Condition - Typical minor wear to the overgraze black enamel. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
