Staffordshire pottery Fox head stirrup cup of typical form, c. 1830. Modelled as the head of a fox, and naturistically coloured. Wearing a collar, inscribed 'Tally Ho' in mercuric gilding. Covered in a Pearlware glaze.

Medium: Earthenware.

Depth:  8 cm, 3.15"

Condition: Typical wear to the gilding. Minute chip to the collar. Otherwise in perfect, unrestored condition.
