Staffordshire Pair 'Disraeli Curl' Spaniels, c. 1860.

A good pair of Staffordshire pottery 'Disraeli Curl' Spaniels, c. 1860. Modelled, seated, with deeply moulded hair, and having a separate front leg. Having pink snouts, yellow eyes, and painted in underglaze black, with large spots. Both dogs painted with distinctive 'Disraeli Curls' to their heads, and wearing gilt collars, lockets, and chains.
Height - 26.5 cm, 10 3/8".
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
