Staffordshire Greyhounds spill vase. Thomas Parr factory, c. 1860.
A fine Staffordshire pottery spill vase, c. 1860. Made at the Thomas Parr factory, and modelled as two elegant greyhounds, before a fenced spill vase. One greyhound stood before the vase, the grey one, recumbent at its feet. Painted in typical colours, and heightened with gilt.
Height - 28 cm, 11”.
Width - 22 cm, 8 5/8”.
Condition - Small repair to tip of the recumbent greyhounds snout. Otherwise in perfect condition.
