Silver neo Classical form bowl - Horace Woodward & Co. London 1913.

A fine, heavy gauge, silver footed bowl of Neo Classical form, made by Horace Woodward and Co., London, 1913. Taking the form of an ancient Greek 'Karcesion'; the body cast with a continuous frieze of figures at various pursuits. Having twin 'Key Fret' handles, terminating in stylised acanthus leaf decoration. The splayed foot having a continuous band of Key Fret decoration.
