A fine silver & cut glass inkwell. James Charles Jay, Sheffield, 1891. The silver holder in the form of a tea caddy, and heavily embossed with Rococo scroll and flowers. Standing upon four scroll feet. glass inkwell of wrythen form, with a marked silver rim.
With carved ivory finial.
The case is marked to the body, and twice on the lid, as is the rim of the glass inkwell. All the marks correspond with each other.
