A Satsuma pottery hexagonal Vase, Meiji Period (1868-1912). The waisted vase well painted with panels of birds amongst flowering trees, alternating with panels of pavilions in river landscapes, set against a complex and striking textile motif.
The neck with a complex floral scroll design, upon a green ground.
Signed Kinkozan to the base.
Height - 19 cm, 7 1/2”.
Condition - Typical minor wear to the gilding - please see images for detail. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
