Rare Staffordshire Prattware spill vase group. Tittensor.


A rare Tittensor Staffordshire spill vase group, c. 1800. Modelled after a Ralph Wood original, with a cow, sheep, and goat recumbent upon a grassy mound base. Two eccentric looking owls perched upon a tree, which forms the triple spill vase. Decorated in Pratt colours, beneath a pearlware glaze.
Height - 8 1/4", 20.5 cm.
Condition - Repair to horns of cow and goat; repair to crack in one spill vase - please see images for details. Otherwise in excellent condition.
