Rare pair of Staffordshire Spaniels with puppies. c. 1840.


A rare and attractive, pair of Staffordshire porcellaneous figure groups, c. 1840. Modelled as a pair of liver spotted seated Spaniels, with two puppies. Set upon oval moulded bases, sprigged with grass. Both bases, with a single gilt line.
Height -13cm, 5 1/8”.
Width - 13.5 cm, 5 3/8”.
Condition - Repair to rear of one base. Two tight hairline cracks to base of other. Otherwise in perfect condition.
