Rare Chinese boxwood tea caddy

A rare Chinese boxwood tea caddy, c. 1820. Finely carved in Canton style with panels of figures in pavilions and gardens. Standing upon four Lion dog feet. The interior fitted with two engraved pewter containers, each having two lids - the inner lids having ivory finials.

Condition: Some age cracks to the base. Otherwise in excellent condition. No repairs.
