Pair Meissen porcelain figures.


A fine pair of Meissen porcelain figures, c. 1860. Modelled as a gentleman and his female companion, dressed in 18th Century costume - he carries a hat, and she holds a flower in her right hand. The details picked out in the finest quality gilding.Both figures standing upon a grassy mound base, with rococo scroll moulding, heightened with gilding.
Underglaze blue crossed swords marks to the base. Incised C376 to the bases.
