Pair large Staffordshire seated whippets 'High and Mighty'.


A pair if large Staffordshire pottery Greyhounds, c. 1860, 'High and Mighty'. Finely and elegantly modelled as two seated Greyhounds, with hares, upon moulded oval bases, applied with grass, and having gilt lines around the foot rim.
These are the tallest of the Greyhound models.
Height - 12 3/4", 32.4cm.
Condition - Typical stress cracks to two legs. Chip to one base. No restoration.
