Pair of Japanese porcelain vases, Arita, c. 1700. Genroku Period. Painted in the Imari style, with a continuous scene of flowering plants, before fences and rocks. The neck with alternating panels of Phoenix and stylised flower heads. Having a continuous whorl motif in iron red to the foot rim.
Height - 24 cm, 9 1/2"
Condition - Typical minor wear to the enamels. Otherwise in perfect condition. No damage. No restoration.
