Meissen puce ground bowl.

A rare Meissen porcelain bowl, c. 1735. The deep sided bowl with quatre lobed panels, finely painted with scenes of figures in garden settings, within gilded rims, upon a puce ground. The interior painted en puce cameaiu, with a scene of figures overlooking a harbour, against a gilt ground.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark & gilt dot to the base, within an unglazed & ground foot rim.

Medium: Porcelain.

Signed/Inscribed: Crossed swords in underglaze blue.

Height:  7.80 cm, 3.07"

Condition: Minor wear to the gilt interior. Otherwise in exceptional condition. No damage. No restoration.
