A Meissen porcelain figure group, c. 1860. Modelled as two children, wearing 18th Century costume. The seated girl holds a garland of flowers, and a basket of flowers at her feet. The boy stands by a tree stump, which supports a cage, upon which is a nest containing a bird; a further bird wanders around by the tree stump.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark to the base, and incised model number 'G91'.
Height - 15.5 cm, 6 1/8".
Width - 11.5 cm, 4 1/2".
Condition - very minor chips to leaves. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.

Signed/Inscribed: Underglaze blue crossed swords mark to the base, and incised model number 'G91'.
