A Meissen porcelain cup and saucer, c. 1740. The cup having an elaborate scroll handle, and finely painted with a large spray of flowers, and smaller sprigs. The saucer similarly decorated.
Crossed swords marks in underglaze blue to both pieces.
Diameter of saucer - 13.7 cm, 5 3/8”.
Height of cup - 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.
Condition - Typical minor wear to the enamels. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.

Medium: Porcelain.

Signed/Inscribed: Crossed swords marks in underglaze blue.

Height:  6.50 cm, 2.56"
