Meissen porcelain cup & saucer.


A Meissen porcelain cup & saucer, c. 1750. The conical shaped cup & deep sided saucer finely painted with sprays of flowers, the borders with a painted complex repeated dot & arrow motif, upon a yellow ground. With gilt dentil rims.
Both the cup & saucer with moulded banding, & a bound strap work handle to the cup.
Ground footrims.
Height of cup - 7 cm, Diameter - 7.6 cm.
Diameter of saucer - 15 cm.

Klaber & Klaber paper label to saucer.

Medium: Porcelain.

Signed/Inscribed: Underglaze blue crossed swords mark to both items.

Condition: Typical minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise perfect. No restoration.
