A Ludwigsburg porcelain figure, c. 1770. Finely modelled by J.J. Louis, as a young man, standing next to a large basket of apples. He holds an apple in his left hand. Set upon a grassy mound base.
CC monogram in underglaze blue. Painters mark in iron red enamel. Impressed marks ‘A43’ and ‘3SM’ to base.
Height - 14.5 cm,
Condition - Repair to chip on brim of hat. Otherwise perfect condition.
