Lalouette - Pair French silvered bronze figures of Jockeys.

A pair of elegant silvered bronze figures, c. 1890. 'Avant et après la course' , one figure cast as a jockey preparing for the race, his saddle over his right shoulder, his crop held in his left hand. The pair cast to depict his victory, the jockey walking away holding his prize money in a large bag, & a winners laurel wreath.
The details finely cast, & the figures silvered. Standing upon ebony bases.

Medium: Bronze.

Height:  22.50 cm, 8.86"
