A fine Japanese silver and enamel bowl, by Toshimitsu of Kyoto, c. 1900. Meiji Period. The lobed bowl, cast with four sprays of flowers, with the flowers enamelled. Set upon a slightly spreading foot.
Marked to the base - 岡野利光 , Okano Toshimitsu, and bearing the Jungin mark (Pure silver).
Weight - 5.8oz, 164.42.
Height - 7 cm, 2 3/4”.
Diameter - 13 cm, 5 1/8”.
Condition - Excellent. No damage. No repair.
