A Japanese lacquered wood netsuke, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Carved as a seated young boy, pointing to his right eye, making a facial gesture -akanbe - He wears a tunic, and holds a large Oni mask behind his back.
Signed on an ivory tablet - Jugyoku 寿玉.
Height - 2.5cm, 1”.
Width - 3 cm, 1 3/16”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No repair.
