Japanese ivory okimono. Signed Gyokuzan. Meiji period


A small Japanese ivory okimono, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Carved as Ushiwakamaru and Fukurokuju and the Tengu King Sojobo,accompanied by the karasu tengu, gathered beneath a pine tree. Set upon an oval shaped base. The ivory bearing a good patination.
Signed - Gyokuzan.
Height - 7.3 cm, 2 7/8".
Width - 4.9 cm, 2".
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No repair.
