Japanese ivory ‘Dragons’ box. Signed Yoshihide, c. 1900. Meiji Period.

A Japanese ivory box and cover, Meiji Period (1868 - 1912). Intricately carved as sinuous dragons with mother of pearl inlaid eyes, amongst clouds. The cover similarly carved, with a Pearl forming the finial.
Signed 義秀Yoshihide, to the interior of the cover.
Height - 7.7 cm, 3”.
Width - 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No repairs.
