A Japanese Negoro lacquered wood netsuke, 18th Century, Edo Period. Charmingly carved as a mother holding her baby, and wearing loose robes, decorated in red and gilt lacquer.
Height - 6.7 cm, 2 5/8”.
Condition - Typical minor wear to the lacquer. Otherwise in excellent condition. No damage. No repair.
