Japanese ‘Imari’ style vase, Arita, Meiji Period.


A Japanese porcelain vase, Arita, c. 1890, Meiji Period. Painted with lappet borders in the Imari style, and the body of the Vase, boldly enamelled with a profusion of enamelled flowers and insects, on a red ground.
Unmarked, but probably Koransha or Fukugawa.
Height - 32 cm, 12 5/8”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
