An amusing English ivory carving, c. 1900. Carved as a Bulldog, dressed as a Victorian huntsman ; wearing a deerstalker, tweed coat, and gators. Holding a gun in his left hand, a stirrup cup in his right, whilst carrying a game bag, and a powder horn.
Set upon an ebony reeded column, mounted with ivory.

Condition: Stress crack to gun barrel. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
