Fine Satsuma pottery vase, signed Ryozan. Meiji Period.


A fine Satsuma pottery vase, made by the Yasuda Company, and painted by Ryozan. Meiji Period. Painted to the body with a group of pigeons beneath a tree. The neck with pavilions amongst trees, on a mountain path. Having borders, enamelled with flower heads.
Gilt Yasuda Company mark, and Ryozan signature to the base.

Medium: Earthenware.

Signed/Inscribed: Signed - Ryozan, and Yasuda Company.
