Chinese silver teaset. Woshing of Shanghai. c. 1900.

A Chinese silver teaset made by Woshing of Shanghai, c. 1900. Each item with chased decoration of dragons chasing Flaming Pearls, and having handles and a spout cast as bamboo. The hinged cover of the teapot decorated with bamboo shoots issuing from a bamboo branch finial; the cover of the sucrier similarly decorated.
Hallmarks for Woshing of Shanghai to all three pieces.
Weight - 909 grammes.
Height of teapot - 17.5 cm, 6 7/8”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No repair.
