Chinese porcelain 'Wucai' jar. Shunzhi Period.

A Chinese Transitional Period porcelain jar, c.1650, made during the reign of the Emperor Shunzhi Decorated in underglaze blue, and Wucai enamels, with Shishi, amongst dense floral scroll. A further band of floral scroll to the shoulder, beneath an iron red lappet neck.

Medium: Porcelain.

Height:  19 cm, 7.48"

Condition: Small glaze chip to the rim - please see image for detail. Some typical wear to the enamel. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
